AcroJester. A ferociously earnest fool at heart, disarming the world through play.

Hannah is a movement theatre creator, clown, and teaching artist based in San Francisco and a core member of UpLift Physical Theatre. She received a MFA in ensemble-based physical theatre from Dell'Arte International in 2015, and a BFA in Theatre and Classics from Grand Valley State University in Michigan in 2008. Compelled by the transformative power of the theatre, Hannah seeks to create visceral poetic work with the capacity to shift perspectives and provoke a deeper understanding of our shared human experience. In San Francisco, Hannah manages the circus performance program at AcroSports, producing circus shows and teaching clowning, performance, acrobatics, and handbalancing to youth and adults. She also works as a clown with the Medical Clown Project and teaches slapstick and physical comedy at the Clown Conservatory at Circus Center SF.
